Nelly does have an adoptive father as well, who shared every thought and effort equally with the adoptive mother and perhaps should have been mentioned.

The thread could be followed much further though.
It is not only that „Vorurteile gegenüber Roma in der Gesellschaft abzubauen“, but in a more general sense, racism can and in the future should be more subtly scrutinized. How we turn to others, how we exploit them to achieve our goals and how we treat and use them as persons of inferior race, (among spouses too!). It is far reaching and we all must attentively learn.
